Pop Up Art School- Snail-tastic Watercolors Ages 8+ In-Person
Snail-tastic Watercolors Ages 8+
Join us for a fun-filled watercolor painting class for kids. Paint bright and colorful snail bodies and shells using vibrant watercolors. You'll learn how to use watercolors wet-on-wet and discover what happens when you sprinkle salt onto wet paint. Once the snails are dry you’ll cut them out transforming them into playful collage pieces. Add silly faces with colored pencils and glue everything together for a colorful and fun project!
15 spots are available, and registration will be required. This is a 90 minute event. For children 8-9, parents must stay on site, for children 10 and over, parents must leave contact information in case they need to be reached during the event.
This program is generously funded by the Friends of Scituate Town Library. Visit the Friends' Bookstore on the lower level of the library! Proceeds help the Friends fund museum passes and special programs for all ages.
