Sweet Start Celebration! In-Person
No School? Come Celebrate with Ice Cream!
School may be back—but not for long! Join us on Friday, September 4th for a sweet break between school days. From 1:00–2:00 PM, Ellie’s Treats Ice Cream Truck will be parked at the library handing out free treats to kids, courtesy of the Friends of the Scituate Town Library.
And what goes great with ice cream? A super duper storytelling extravaganza! Starting at 2PM join us for Big Ryan's Tall Tales in the Community Room. Ryan will delight you with a mix of original stories as well as some classic tales, a bit of puppet play and some music and movement.
Come celebrate the end of summer and the start of a new school year—no registration needed!
This program is generously funded by the Friends of Scituate Town Library. Visit the Friends' Bookstore on the lower level of the library! Proceeds help the Friends fund museum passes and special programs for all ages.
